On October 2nd in Copenhagen Denmark, the International Olympi.jpgc Committee will vote on which country will host the 2016 Summer Olympi.jpgc Games. 

Such decisions are of course eagerly anticipated, and one of the primary reasons countries and specific cities like to host the Olympi.jpgc Games are to promote tourism and travel to the region.  To show the world what they have to offer. 

There are four potential candidates to host the 2016 Summer Games:

Chicago, United States
Madrid, Spain
Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Tokyo, Japan

The committee will also decide on the inclusion of any new sports for the 2016 games.  

This is not the only significant event Copenhagen is hosting this fall.  They will also host the United Nations Climate Change Conference December 7-18. 

My prediction is that Madrid Spain will win the bid, which is why I included a photo of Real Madrid Stadium. Who do you think will be chosen?
