The Cleanest South African City Is…

This honour has been presented to Port Elizabeth – the Friendly City. The Nelson Mandela Metro in the Eastern Cape & the Breede River Winelands in the Western Cape have been named as the cleanest municipalities in the Country. Each will receive a prize of R1 million to assist in their waste management initiatives.
The runners-up in the metropolitan category were the City of Cape Town & eThekweni (Durban).
