Pebbles Restaurant
Pebbles Restaurant in Polokwane is in a lovely old home that was restored and renovated in 1999. The restaurant is situated on its own premises between Savanna Mall and inner town. Service has always been fast and the staff friendly – with a smile to spare. Prices on the menu offer good value for money – and decent portions.
Recently Rickety Bridge Winerey launched their selection of wines at Pebbles. A kaleidoscope of decadent bites were served that included phyllo pastry baskets, German matured emmenthaler and kudu carpaccio – each complimenting a wine’s taste. (If I have to describe the wine from the Rickety Bridge Winery, imagine tasting history, romance and soft lingering flavours.)
PS. The Rickety Bridge Winery is situated on the slopes of Franschhoek valley, combined with a cellar policy of minimal interference – producing a distinctive choice of wines which are the hallmark of this South African winery.
NB. Polokwane is one of the 2010 FIFA World Cup host cities in South Africa.
