Oldest Hotel in the World

The Hoshi Ryokan Hotel is located in the Awazu Onsen area of Komatsu, in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan.
The Hotel has been in operation since the year 718, almost 1300 years, and has been recognized by the Guinness World Records.
The hotel is a family business, and has in fact been owned and operated by the same family for 46 generations. Imagine how many people must have stayed there in 1300 years?
The Hoshi Ryokan Hotel features not only guest rooms, but also a hot springs spa, theater, restaurant, and Japanese gardens.
