Have you traveled to or through the New York’s LaGuardia airport, or had a few hours layover there recently?  There’s really never been anything to eat there, aside from a burger king, starbucks, and a wendy’s maybe.  I have always wanted airports to have more variety, or more “good” food besides just the occasional fast food options.

Well, LaGuardia will become the next airport to move in that direction.  It appears others, like me, are looking for more dine-in options instead of the fast foods.  They are looking to relax with classier food options in a restaurant style atmosphere at the airport before they board the aircraft.  LaGuardia will have 13 new restaurants, bars, and cafes by next summer.

Among the restaurants will be Prime Tavern, Bisoux, Tagliare, Pat La Frieda.  I can’t wait! ^_^ Now when I’m connecting through New York, I will finally enjoy my couple of hours layover and choose between having a fresh hamburger, jumbo shrimp cocktail, or maybe some lobster bouillon and creme brulee!
