I run a driving school in Johannesburg, South Africa and my pupils always drive on the road. What better place to learn?

I admit that I do start inexperienced drivers on quieter roads too.

I am glad you havn't had any accident even though you were driving in the street. All the best for the rest of the training.

Great blog, I must say its quiet informative and funny!
I recently got my drivers license & was on a car hunt for a well known & trusted brand, i found Hyundai. A Hyundai i20 to be specific, got a quote from their site (www.hyundai.co.za) & a free test drive from a nearby dealership.
Since I was first time car buyer & literally a learner driver, I needed & wanted a car that was easy to handle... The i20 was that and a half, it's great for first time drivers & professionals of course.
With the global recession, buying a car is a luxury - being a 20 something female, climbing the corporate ladder - breaking the bank for a car is not really part of my plan.
I'm loving my new i20 (first car), my new best friend indeed! It is comfortable, low on petrol (thank goodness), is very cheek & I must say I'm confident stopping next to that "oh so expensive" car!
Fun, fun and more fun is what it’s all about –yep, your new best friend Hyundai i20.
I just love it - i read more about it on www.
