I want to visit Thailand during August holidays
I work however in China and need to be back on the 27 August 2018 in Bejing
I am single and 58 years old and want a holiday in Thailand for about 10 days and explore all famous islands i.e Phi phi . Can i do it in a group or can i do it on my own ?

It really depends on what you looking for.
If you a solo traveler and prefer coming and going as you please instead of sticking to a set itinerary then going by yourself would suit you best.
It is pretty safe and I know of quite a colleagues and friends who have visited Thailand on their own and met others along the way.
However if you have limited time, I would recommend a tour if you want to see as much as possible. You would then need to see what tours you would be interested in and if they include the islands and activities you looking for.
